(a) The operation of rollerskates, and skateboards is hereby prohibited on the roadway and sidewalks of Spring Street between the intersecting streets of Pine and Main. The operation of bicycles is prohibited on the sidewalks of Spring Street between the intersecting streets of Pine and Main. That operation for the purpose of this subsection shall not include a person carrying a skateboard nor shall it include a person walking while pushing a bicycle. This section shall not prohibit police officers from riding bicycles in the above designated areas while carrying out their authorized duties.
(b) The operation of bicycles, motorized bicycles, skateboards and roller skates is hereby prohibited on the memorial covered bridge and its associated walkways or ramps on either end of the bridge, such bridge located in Memorial Park. This section shall not apply to a person carrying a skateboard or roller skates nor shall it apply to a person pushing a bicycle or a motorized bicycle.
(c) This section does not apply to the operation of a wheelchair or a motorized wheelchair.
