149.01 EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICE; RATES.
   (a)    There is hereby created an emergency ambulance service in conjunction with the Municipal Division of Fire.
   (b)    The Director of Public Service and Safety or in his absence, the Mayor, is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with adjoining townships or any other township within the immediate area of the City for purposes of furnishing emergency service. The contract may be established on a "per call" basis plus mileage or an annual basis or any combination thereof.
   (c)    The establishment of the rates shall take into consideration the depreciation of vehicles, cost of operation of the vehicles, together with expenditures of funds for purposes of manpower therefor.

   (d)    Each year as political subdivisions pay for the emergency ambulance service provided by the City the calculated portion designated for ambulance replacement shall be placed in the Ambulance Reserve Fund, which funds can only be utilized for ambulance replacement.
