(a) Council hereby authorizes and confirms the establishment of a Parking Enforcement Unit within the Police Department.
(b) Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 737.05.1, the Director of Public Service and Safety shall be the executive head of the Parking Enforcement Unit, and shall make all appointments or removals of parking enforcement officers and shall do all other things in conformance with Ohio R.C. 737.05.1(B)(1).
(c) The authority of the parking enforcement officer shall be limited pursuant to Ohio R.C. 737.05.1(B)(2).
(d) The Director shall further provide for training of the parking enforcement officers in conjunction with Ohio R.C. 737.05.1(B)(3).
