(a) The Director of Public Service and Safety shall have the authority to designate an Acting Director of Public Service and Safety during the Director’s absence from the office.
(b) An Acting Director of Public Service and Safety shall only be appointed when an absence of the Director will be for one or more complete days.
(c) All Department Heads will be notified of the temporary appointment so as to resume a continuance of regular operation of the City during the absence of the Director of Public Service and Safety.
