There is hereby adopted, for the purpose of addressing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire, explosion, handling or use of hazardous materials and the use and occupancy of buildings and premises and to safeguard the public health and safety, that certain code known as the Ohio Fire Code, in its present form and as may be hereafter amended, a copy of which shall be on file with the Fire Department.
