(a) The Safety-Service Director, upon authorization by Council, will permit the installation of either or both storm or sanitary sewers to serve a new real estate subdivision within corporate limits, in accordance with Subdivision Regulations.

(b) All new sewers, either storm or sanitary, and appurtenances (manholes, catch basins, etc.), shall meet the specifications adopted as standard by the City for the construction and installation of the same, and any plans and/or specifications approved by the Director.
