This chapter shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval and publication as required by law and shall be published in pamphlet form, provided, however, that the tax provided for herein shall take effect for all bills issued on or after July 1, 2005; and the tax provided for in ordinance 2002-26 passed by the president and board of trustees for the village of St. Joseph, Illinois, on September 24, 2002, shall continue in effect for bills issued prior to July 1, 2005. Copies of the ordinance codified herein shall be certified and sent to the Illinois department of revenue prior to March 20, 2005. (Ord. 2005-2, 3-8-2005)
