(A) Collection days shall be determined, and announced by the Village Board of Trustees on the Village website and posting at the municipal building, conditions permitting.
(B) Materials for pick up are to be placed prior to seven o’clock (7:00) A.M. on the scheduled and announced collection week.
(C) Materials for pick up are not to be placed for pick up more than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled and announced collection week.
(D) Brush and/or paper yard bags are to be placed in distinct piles within three feet (3') of the curb prior to scheduled and announced collection week.
(E) Brush piles need to have at least eighteen inches (18") between piles.
(F) Materials are not to be placed around mail boxes, trees, poles, or fire hydrants.
(G) Brush/yard waste is not to be placed on or block public street surfaces, public sidewalk surfaces, gutters, public drainage facilities, or on property belonging to someone else without that owner's permission.
(H) Vehicles shall be relocated on the scheduled and announced collection week to provide access for collection of material.
(I) The Village reserves the right to deny collection of brush/tree limbs/yard bags due to the lack of access to or within the piles, excessive volume of materials, late placement of materials or restricted material, or other violation of the regulations herein.
(J) It shall be a violation of this chapter to place materials for collection through the Village of St. Joseph landscape waste collection programs, which were not grown and gathered from property within the Village of St. Joseph.
(K) It shall be a violation of this chapter for the use of the Village of St. Joseph brush and tree limb collection program by landscapers, arborists and similar professions for property maintenance services conducted on behalf of residents or owners of property within the Village of St. Joseph.
