§ 52.40 METERS.
   (A)   All premises using water/sewer shall be metered using meters from the Water Department and shall remain the property of the Department and will at all times be under its control. The cost of a meter including plumbing meeting specification that allows setting of a meter shall be paid by the customer. The cost of meters shall be set and/or revised by the City Commission as needed in conjunction with the periodic revision of the city fee and rate schedule.
   (B)   Water capital charge fee: residential, commercial and other buildings. The city reserves the right to regulate meter size(s) and quantities dependent on anticipated flows from each building based on size and use. All meters must be purchased through the city. Installed meters are the property of the Water Department.
