§ 131.01 INTERFERENCE WITH POLICE.
   (A)   No person shall resist any police officer, any member of the Police Department or any person duly empowered with police authority, while in the discharge or apparent discharge of his duty or in any way interfere with or hinder him in the discharge of his duty.
   (B)   No person shall offer or endeavor to assist any person in the custody of a police officer, a member of the Police Department, or a person duly empowered with police authority to escape or attempt to escape from such custody.
   (C)   No person shall assault, beat, strike or wound any police officer, member of the Police Department, or any person duly empowered with police authority while serving or attempting to serve or execute any process, rule, order or ordinance or while engaged in his lawful acts, attempts and efforts to preserve and keep the peace.
   (D)   No person shall intimidate or seek to intimidate any police officer by threats and thereby induce him to refrain from executing his official duty.
   (E)   No person shall incite, encourage, or otherwise promote or procure the violation of any provision of this section by any other person.
