The provisions of this subchapter shall not apply to any fair held under the direct management and supervision of any recognized agricultural association or society, nonprofit association or corporation at which are exhibited agricultural or industrial products principally. This subchapter shall not apply to exhibitions or shows given for charity or for the benefit of schools or benevolent, educational, fraternal, or religious societies.
