(A) There is adopted, for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, the BOCA National Fire Prevention Code, 1990 Edition, published by Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., 4051 West Flossmoor Road, Country Club Hills, IL 60478-5795.
(B) A complete copy of the code is available for public use and inspection in the office of the City Clerk.
(C) From the date on which the ordinance set forth in this section shall take effect, the provisions of the Fire Prevention Code shall be controlling within the limits of the city.
