An elected official or appointee may serve as a member of a board, commission, committee, or authority unless prohibited by the city charter, city ordinance or state law or otherwise results in a conflict of interest. Any person applying for or being considered for a board, commission, committee, or authority must disclose any current memberships that may give rise to an incompatibility claim.
