An approved drainage system shall consist of an underground connection to a storm drain, roadside ditch, or natural waterway that carries the discharge away from the structure. Under no conditions will foundation drainage be allowed to discharge to the sanitary sewer system or directly onto the ground surface at a point closer than 30 feet to any structure.
