§ 3.6 QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE; COMPENSATION.
   The qualifications of Mayor and Council members shall be in accordance with general law. The Mayor and Council members shall be reimbursed for ordinary and necessary expenses and may receive salaries and honoraria only upon a majority vote of all qualified voters of the town in a special referendum with respect thereto.
