(A) It is the policy of the town to permit hunting by means of bow and arrow and/or firearms when a permit has been issued to the town by the state’s Wildlife Resources Commission authorizing wildlife herd management during a specified period as stated in the permit.
(B) The Town Council hereby declares that it is in the public interest to permit both bow hunting and firearms for the purpose wildlife herd management only by those persons who are expressly authorized to do so and further that authorization to do so shall be granted by the town through its Town Administrator.
(C) Hunting is prohibited within town limits.
