Unless otherwise specified in this chapter, all notices or citations required to be sent or delivered pursuant to this chapter shall be served and return of service made as follows.
(A) Civil process. The Sheriff will serve all notices, civil citations, or other civil process related to this chapter according to the North Carolina Rules of Civil Procedure contained in G.S. Chapter 1A.
(B) Criminal process. The Sheriff will serve all criminal citation, criminal summons, warrants, or other criminal process related to this chapter according the North Carolina Rules of Criminal Procedure contained in G.S. Chapter 15A.
