§ 8.1 CONFLICTS OF INTEREST.
   No person or immediate family member of such person who is employed by or an official of the town shall do business with the town unless the Council specifically approves such activity. All appointed officials shall apprise the Council of any and all conflicts of interest, and failure to do so shall constitute grounds for immediate dismissal for cause. No official may accept any gratuity from any business, person, or other official if such gratuity is related to his or her official duties.
