§ 51.06 PRIVATE WATER SUPPLIES AND WELL PROHIBITED.
   (A)   For the purpose of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates, or requires, a different meaning.
       PERSON. Any natural person, or partnership, or association, or private or public corporation.
       PRIVATE WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM. A system owned, and operated, by a person for collection, and delivery, of piped water for human consumption into commercial, industrial, or residential buildings, or structures.
      PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM. The city water supply system.
   (B)   No person shall build, establish, expand, or maintain a private water supply within the city. Any private water supply system which is in place, and operational, as of the date of this section, shall be subject to this section only in the event that his or her current well system shall fail.
   (C)   Any violation of this section shall constitute a misdemeanor.
