§ 50.25 METER TESTING.
   Whenever a consumer shall request the city to test any utility meter in use by him or her, the request shall be accompanied by a cash deposit in the amount set by resolution by the Council for each meter to be tested. If any meter is found to be inaccurate, the same shall be replaced with an accurate meter, and the deposit thereon refunded. If the meter shall be found to be accurate in its recordings, or calculations, it shall be reinstalled, and the deposit shall be retained by the city to defray the cost of the test.
