§ 156.006 FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT REGULATIONS.
   (A)   Statement of purpose. It has been determined that within the corporate limits of the city there are certain flood hazard areas. In order to protect the residents of the community from flood hazards, and to enable local residents to participate in the National Flood Insurance Program, the city shall adopt regulations designed to minimize flood losses.
   (B)   Floodplain management regulations adopted. The document entitled “City of St. James Floodplain Management Regulations”, dated October 17, 2023, is hereby adopted in its entirety, by reference, as though repeated verbatim herein. Three copies of the regulations shall be marked “CITY OF ST. JAMES - OFFICIAL COPY”, and kept on file in the office of the City Clerk-Treasurer, and open to inspection and use by the public.
