§ 111.004 HOURS, DAYS OF LIQUOR SALES.
   (A)   Liquor, consumption; on-sale. No sale of liquor for consumption on the licensed premises may be made:
      (1)   Between 1:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on the days of Monday through Saturday; or
      (2)   After 1:00 a.m. on Sundays, except as provided by division (B) below.
   (B)   Liquor, Sunday sales; on-sale. On-sale licenses for the sale of liquor on Sunday may be issued to restaurants, clubs, and hotels with a seating capacity for at least 30 persons, and which holds an on-sale intoxicating liquor license. The establishments may sell liquor for consumption on the premises, in conjunction with the sale of food between the hours of 10:00 a.m. on Sundays and 1:00 a.m. on Mondays; provided, that the licensee is in conformance with the Federal Clean Air Act, being 42 U.S.C. §§ 7401 et seq.
   (C)   Restaurants. A restaurant, whose primary business is the sale of food, may open at the commencement of its regular business hours, but may not sell alcohol, beer, wine, or 3.2% malt liquor until the time as is allowed by law.
   (D)   Closing of stores and establishments. Businesses licensed to sell, on an on-sale basis, liquor, beer, and 3.2% malt liquor, shall close completely, except for cleaning purposes, during the hours the sale of liquor, beer, and 3.2% malt liquor are not allowed by city ordinance.
   (E)   City liquor store, Sundays. The City Manager and the City Liquor Store Manager shall jointly have the sole discretion to determine specific Sundays upon which the City Liquor Store shall be open for operation between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., including, by way of example, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Super Bowl Sunday, and other Sundays as the City Manager and Liquor Store Manager may deem appropriate.
