§ 93.01 GENERALLY.
   (A)   Garage sales as defined herein must be limited to property belonging to the homeowner or friends of the homeowner with the homeowner’s permission, and shall not consist of sales of items purchased for resale or received on consignment for resale.
   (B)   Garage sales, including garage sales by non-profit organizations, will be limited to six garage sales per year. Each sale shall be limited to five consecutive days and may be any five-day period. Three off-site signs and one on-site sign is allowed during the sale, but must be removed immediately upon the completion of the sale. Signs may be up to six square feet and four feet high. The signs must be five feet from the curb or shoulder of the road and will not be allowed on utility poles or street signs.
   (C)   Prior to conducting any sale, a permit fee, the amount to be established by the City Council, must be paid. The fee set shall be a part of the city fee schedule. The city-wide garage sale shall not be required to pay a permit fee.
