§ 72.59 MINIMUM AGE OF OPERATOR.
   No person under the age of 14 years shall operate a snowmobile on any public land, or water, in the city. A person 14 years of age or older, but less than 18 years of age, may operate a snowmobile on streets and highways as permitted under this subchapter, and make a direct crossing of the streets, and highways, only if he or she has, in his or her immediate possession, a valid snowmobile certificate issued by the Commissioner, and then only for purposes of travel between his or her home (or home location of the snowmobile), and a point outside the city, or to an area within the city, or to an area within the city designated as a snowmobile area. The travel must be accomplished by the shortest distance, taking the most direct route while complying with applicable laws.
