(a) There is hereby levied an annual five dollar ($5.00) license tax under the provisions of Ohio R.C. 4504.17 to take effect beginning in the year 2001, and that revenue derived from said tax will be used for the purposes authorized pursuant to Ohio R.C. 4504.17 including to supplement costs and expenses associated with the maintenance of public roads within the City.
(b) All revenues derived from said tax shall be deposited, pending use, in the Motor Vehicle License Tax Fund of the City.
(c) The Clerk shall send a certified copy of this section to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles immediately after its effective date.
