171.06 VIOLATIONS; COMPLAINT PROCEEDINGS.
   (a)   The Fair Housing Practices Commission shall take whatever action is necessary to prevent any person from engaging in unlawful discriminatory practices as set forth herein, provided however, that before instituting a formal complaint the Commission shall attempt by informal methods of persuasion and conciliation to induce compliance with the provisions of this chapter.
   (b)   Violations of the provisions of this chapter that are unable to be settled by means of informal persuasion and conciliation shall be turned over to the Urban Projects Director of the City who shall cause formal charges to be filed in Municipal Court against the person violating the provisions.
