The "yeas" and "nays" when demanded by any member, shall be taken on the passage of any resolution or any question or proposition submitted to Council, but all ordinances must be adopted by separate vote of Council taken by "yeas" and "nays". The "yeas" and "nays" shall be taken by the Clerk of Council at the first meeting of the term in alphabetical order, thereafter, the first name in alphabetical order shall be placed last at the roll call for the next meeting and the roll call shall be rotated in alphabetical order in this manner for each succeeding meeting, so that the succession of roll call shall be different at each meeting.
