1305.99 PENALTY.
      (a)    Whoever violates any of the provisions of this Chapter, or fails to comply with any of the requirements thereof, or erects, constructs, alters or repairs, or has erected, constructed, altered or repaired, a building or structure, in violation of a detailed statement or plan submitted and approved thereunder, or of a permit or certificate issued thereunder, for which no other penalty is provided, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor in the fourth degree. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. The owner of a building, structure or premises, where anything in violation of this Chapter is placed or exists, and any architect, builder, contractor, agent, person or corporation employed in connection therewith and who may have assisted in the commission of such violation, shall be penalized as herein provided.
 
   (b)   The application of the penalty provided in division (a) of this section shall not be deemed to prevent the enforced removal of prohibited conditions, or the application of any other equitable remedy.
