The City shall appoint, for the purpose of the enforcement of the provisions of this chapter and of the Ohio Plumbing Code, a Certified Plumbing Inspector certified by the State of Ohio. The Plumbing Inspector shall be a practical plumber with at least seven (7) years of experience, selected from those persons who are well-informed as to practical plumbing, skilled and well-trained in matters pertaining to the sanitary regulations concerning plumbing work. The Plumbing Inspector so appointed shall not, during his term of office, be engaged or interested in the plumbing business or the sale of any plumbing supplies for any person so engaged.
