In General Commercial and Industrial Districts, pre-filled L.P.G. tanks shall be permitted only when stored in compliance with the requirements of NFiPA #58 and #59, and further provided that such tanks may be located and installed only upon the written notification to the Fire Chief or Fire Prevention Officer and obtaining a permit. The sale of L.P.G. directly to the consumer at retail, by transfer of L.P.G. from one container to another shall be permitted in compliance with the requirements of NFiPA #58 and #59 and any other applicable code.
