A permit shall be obtained from the Fire Chief or the Fire Prevention Officer for the use or storage of any L.P.G. container over twelve gallons water capacity (nominal 40 pounds L.P.G.), or an aggregate total of twenty-four gallons water capacity (nominal 80 pounds L.P.G.) exceptions to include:
(a) Portable containers up to 12 gallons water capacity, (nominal forty pounds L.P.G.), on recreational vehicles.
(b) Permanent containers on vehicles powered by L.P.G.
(c) Permanent containers on recreational vehicles for heating and cooking appliances.
