The fee to accompany an application for a building permit shall be ten dollars ($10.00) for residential construction consisting of three (3) or fewer units covered under the Ohio Residential Code (ORC) and twenty dollars ($20.00) for any residential consisting of more than three (3) units, commercial, industrial or other construction covered under the Ohio Building Code (OBC), which shall be retained by the Building Division even though a building permit is not granted.
