The Deputy Building Inspector shall hold Certification as a Residential Building Inspector issued by the Ohio Board of Building Standards or obtain the certification within one (1) year of employment. He or she shall be in good health and physically capable of making the necessary examinations and inspections of buildings in the course of construction. He or she shall not have any interest whatsoever directly or indirectly in the sale or manufacture of any new material, process or device entering into, or used in, or in connection with, building construction.
