The purpose of the "C-2" District is to accommodate residential, retail business, and recreational activities which are particularly river oriented and require maximum exposure to a waterfront area. This district is designed for those facilities which will accentuate and be compatible with the riverine environment. It is meant to recognize the Ohio River as an important natural resource to be protected and preserved, and to preserve the riverfront area for river-related activities.
