The purpose of the "I-2" District is to accommodate a planned and organized approach to providing industrial and office opportunities. These planned and organized areas may be unified industrial parks with common access roads and facilities or areas along major highways designed for industrial and office use. This district should apply to undeveloped tracts of land and to those lands annexed by the City after the effective date of this chapter.
