The purpose of the "B-1" District is to accommodate development in the traditional core business area of the City. This district is designed to perpetuate the mix of activities which reflect commercial uses of an urban character. This district should not apply to lands outside the City's core business area or to lands annexed by the City after the effective date of this chapter.
