Any person, upon receiving notice to make necessary repairs as provided within the provisions of this chapter to sidewalks and curbs abutting property in which they have an interest, shall be liable to the City for any cost incurred by the City for damages that may be sustained by any person as a result of the maintenance of sidewalks or curbs in the state of disrepair as set forth herein.
