The taxicab registration tag may be transferable upon written notification to the City Manager of a desire to so transfer. The notice shall contain the registration number of the taxicab from which and to which the transfer is to be made. Such written notice shall be endorsed upon the license of the taxicab operator and upon the records of the City Manager. (1947 Code, Sec. 8-65.)
