(A) (1) Holidays shall include New Years Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
(2) When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the following day shall be considered the holiday, and when any holiday falls on a Saturday, the day before is a holiday, in accordance with national protocol.
(B) Employees required to work on a holiday shall receive in lieu of the holiday, time and 1/2 for work where otherwise stated in this policy.
