§ 92.060 EXCEPTIONS.
   This subchapter shall not apply to the keeping and maintaining of dangerous animals in the following cases:
   (A)   The keeping or maintaining of an animal for exhibition to the public by a traveling circus, carnival or other exhibit or show holding a permit issued by the Commissioner of Natural Resources pursuant to M.S. § 97.611, as it may be amended from time to time;
   (B)   The keeping and maintaining of dangerous animals in a licensed veterinary hospital for treatment; and
   (C)   Dangerous or poisonous reptiles may be kept or maintained by a bona fide educational or medical institution for the purpose of instruction or study, provided that reptiles are securely confined and are properly cared for in a manner satisfactory to the Chief of Police or the Chief of Police's designated agent.
