§ 53.99 PENALTY.
   Any person that violates this chapter shall be shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, may be subject to the maximum fine and imprisonment allowed by state law. Each such violation shall constitute a separate offense punishable to the maximum extent of the law. The authorized enforcement agency may recover all attorneys’ fees court costs and other expenses associated with enforcement of this chapter, including sampling and monitoring expenses.
