Samples shall be composite samples collected over a three-day period of operation so as to be a truly representative sample of the actual quality of the wastes. Samples for analysis must be collected by the Engineer or his or her representative. An analysis shall be made by a qualified sanitary engineer using the laboratory methods for the examination of industrial waste as set forth in the latest edition of Standard Methods for Examination of Water and Sewage as published by the American Public Health Association.
