145.01 DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE AND SAFETY.

The Department of Public Service shall be administered by a Director of Public Service and Safety. The Director shall be appointed by the Mayor. The Director shall perform such duties and have such powers as are provided by the laws of the State and ordinances of the Village. The Director’s salary shall be payable bi-weekly, and the Director shall give a bond, conditioned according to law, with good and sufficient sureties, to be approved by the Mayor.
