(a) Exits, and aisles and passageways leading to them, in portable structures and or tents used, as places of assembly, shall be kept adequately lighted at all times when such portable structures and or tents are occupied, and artificial light shall be provided whenever natural light is inadequate.
(b) In portable structures and or tents used as places of assembly, where capacities exceed 50 persons or more, there shall be placed over each exit way an electrically illuminated, standard, approved exit sign, having plain block transparent green letters not less than five inches in height imposed over a light background of the word "exit."
