Ushers, special police, attendants or other responsible persons shall familiarize themselves with fire protection facilities, fire prevention features and with the condition of exits; they shall patrol the entire area of the portable structure and or tent during the time it is occupied; they shall further see that the area is not overcrowded, that the aisles and exit ways are kept open, and that the no-smoking rules are observed. The Fire Chief shall inspect at intervals during the time that the portable structure and or tent is erected and/or occupied to ascertain if all rules and regulations have been complied with.
