No person shall, within the City, carry or wear under his clothes, or concealed about his person, any pistol or revolver, or sling-shot, or cross knuckles or knuckles of lead, brass or other metal, or any switchblade knife or razor, bowie knife, dirk knife or dirk, dagger or any other dangerous or deadly weapon. The firearm prohibitions in this Section shall not apply to the officers or members of the Police Department, nor to any sheriff or deputy sheriff or constable of this State, nor to any United States Marshal, nor to any other retired police officer eligible under a federally approved retired officer concealed carry program, nor to any individuals holding a valid Illinois Concealed Carry License, or a current license from such other state with which Illinois maintains reciprocity.
