(A) No person, other than those authorized by the Town, shall have direct contact with any property of the Water Utility or tap any water mains or make connections thereto or in any way interfere with the Water Utility or the property, equipment, pipes, valves or other appurtenances of the Water Utility or change or alter the position of any valve or appurtenances regulating the flow of water in any pipeline.
(B) A three foot radius clear space around the fire hydrant shall be maintained in such a manner as to not curtail nor interfere with its effective use in an emergency. No one, other than those authorized by the Town, shall change or cause change to this area.
