(A) Building types.
(1) Single and multi-story buildings that are appropriate to the allowed use; and
(2) Accessory buildings appropriate to the allowed use.
(B) Allowed uses.
(1) Multi-family residential apartments with two to12 housing units;
(2) Two-family (duplex) residential;
(3) Single-family residential;
(4) Townhouse residential with no more than four housing units per building;
(5) Religious institutions;
(6) Schools;
(7) State-licensed day care facility serving 12 or fewer persons, or a group family day care facility, licensed under state rules, W.S. § 9-2-2104(a)(vii), W.S. § 14-4-104 and W.S. §§ 16-3-101 et. seq. (1999) and the State Administrative Rules for Certification of Child Care Facilities Chapters 1-11. Care facilities located within the MR-2 District shall be subject to the same zoning regulations as multi-family dwellings in the MR-2 District;
(8) State-licensed residential care facilities serving up to six persons or a housing with services establishment registered under Wyoming’s Rules serving up to six persons. Licensed under Department of Health Requirements. Care facilities located in the MR-2 District shall be subject to the same zoning regulations as multi-family dwellings in the MR-2 District; and
(9) Accessory uses, including, but not limited to: open parking or garages; swimming pools; tennis courts and similar recreational facilities; and storage buildings
(C) Prohibited uses.
(1) Any land use not allowed above shall be prohibited unless the use is found to be substantially similar to a use listed in this code by the Board.
(2) Landowners may petition the Board for a determination of a substantially similar use. The request must be made ten days prior to a regularly scheduled Board meeting. Decisions of the Board may be appealed to the Town Council.
