(A) The purpose of this zone is to primarily provide uses that meet the retail and service needs of the town in a traditional community center and its vicinity with one- and two-story buildings, and may contain other compatible uses, such as civic and institutional uses of community importance.
(B) The scale of retail uses intended for this area is small stores and businesses.
(C) This area is not intended to be used for industrial uses, large-scale retail or commercial buildings, or storage.
(D) This area is intended to increase pedestrian traffic and use of the area by town residents and the community as a whole.
