§ 150.057 STOP WORK ORDER.
   A stop work order may be issued by the Town Building Official, Town Special Municipal Officer, Town Administrator, Town Attorney or Mayor for engaging in construction without a valid permit or for infractions deemed to seriously impair the use of the building or structure or to affect the health and safety of its occupants, or upon the failure of the owner to rectify an infraction within the specific time interval. Any person who shall continue any work in or about the structure after having been served with a stop work order, except such work as that person is directed to perform to remove a violation or unsafe condition shall, upon conviction, be punished as provided in the town.
